Christian Dubuc
PRESIDENT & CEO
Senior Member of the IEEE and recognized as one of the World’s 300 Leading IP Strategist by Intellectual Asset Management magazine (IAM).
Founder of Harfang IP, a patent licensing company. Previously also founded Longhorn IP. Prior, was Senior Vice President at Acacia Research Group. Additionally, he was Vice President of Licensing Technologies at WiLAN.
Holds a M.Eng. in Systems and Computer Engineering and an MBA. He is the inventor of several wireless technology patents and has authored numerous technical papers and articles in the field.
Vatche Varvarian
CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
Spent over two decades at Ericsson in senior engineering and technology roles, where he helped shape advanced wireless systems and standards.
He has built and scaled high‑performing engineering and data science organizations and managed multi‑million‑dollar technology portfolios across the wireless industry.
Most recently, Mr. Varvarian served as Managing Principal at Studio a+1, leading Agentic AI workflow automation initiatives and providing fractional CTO advisory services to private 5G solution providers.

2016
Founding of IP Company in the US
Taijitu Ventures Inc. founded by Christian Dubuc in Texas to license Intellectual Property (IP) related to wireless technologies developed by various industry leaders.
2019
Canadian Head Office
Creation of Canadian company, named Harfang IP Inc. to reflect Canadian roots. US company renamed Harfang IP Investment Corp, now a subsidiary of Harfang IP Inc.
2022
5G Advanced R&D
Beginning of the 5G Advanced R&D program and filing of first patent applications.
2026
OWL Wireless Labs
Creation of Owl Wireless Labs Ltd (OWL) to assemble a dedicated team of Research Scientists to develop cutting-edge 5G Advanced and 6G technologies.
